Chatham Historical Society is Using: A Better World for our Auction Site

Anyone can view the auction site. To be able to save your favorite items to watch or to bid on an item you will need to sign up for an account and enter your payment information.
Signing up for an account:
1. Visit: https://chathamhistoricalsociety.betterworld.org/
2. Click “Log In” on the top right of the screen
3. Scroll down to the bottom of the pop up and Click “Sign-Up”
4. Enter Your Information (name, email, password, phone)
5. Click “I’m not a Robot” select the photos and click “Verify”
6. Click “Submit” You are now Signed Up For an Account
Pre-Registering: Pre-Registration simply means you are entering your payment info, address, and contact details into your account section ahead of time. This is option. You can do it tonight or wait until you bid, and it prompts you to do so.
Entering your payment info
1. Click on the “Person Icon” on the upper right side of the page
2. Scroll down and select “My Account”
3. Click on “Settings” in the dark blue bar at the top of the page
4. Click on “Payment Method” on the left-hand side of the page
5. Click on “Add a New Card” under the Payment Method on the left-hand side of the page
6. Complete the form with the required information and Click on “Save” your payment information is now entered
Entering your Address (if you are setting up shipping for your items won)
1. Click on the “Person Icon” on the upper right side of the page
2. Scroll down and select “My Account”
3. Click on “Settings” in the dark blue bar at the top of the page
4. Click on “Addresses” on the left-hand side of the page
5. Click on “Add a New Address” under the Addresses on the left-hand side of the page
6. Complete the form with the required information and Click on “Save” your payment information is now entered
Helpful Hints
1. You can save your favorite items to watch them by clicking on the heart icon on the item picture
2. You can set up notifications to know when you have been outbid so you don’t miss out!
a. To do this: access the notifications section in your “My Account” section
