The Chatham Historical Society will host the annual Chatham Town Picnic on Saturday, September 9, starting at 1 PM. All who live in Chatham or love Chatham are welcome to come. Hot dogs, hamburgers, and soft drinks will be provided. Those who attend are asked to bring a casserole, salad, or dessert to share.
The picnic will take place on the lawn under a large tent at the Society's schoolhouse at 1061 Main Road. There will be live music by KAJEMO. The Society's museum will be open, with a scavenger hunt for all who would like to participate.
Raffle tickets will be sold until 3 PM when the winners will be drawn. The prizes are
President of the Society, Jeanne Eastman, said, “We are always so pleased with the turnout at our picnic, and the support everyone shows for the Chatham Historical Society. We are especially grateful this year for Tad Furtado's donation of a raffle prize. The winner will arrange with Tad for a special meal prepared in their own home, including all ingredients and clean up, and they can participate in the cooking, or relax with a catered private party. How great is that!”

- a painting of cranes at sunrise, painted by Ann Landers;

- a vintage Gund teddy bear.
